As a picky eater, trying somewhere new is always overwhelming. But Shahi Dawat has very quickly become our choice for a great Indian meal. The chicken tikka is by far my favourite, and one of the best in Auckland (I recently even had this meal at Cassia, and it was extremely average compared to Shahi’s). The only critique I’d have about this place is that the naan bread could be improved (I have the garlic naan), but honestly, this place deserves a lot of praise. Well done.

Support local and head to Shahi Dawat, DON'T waste your time going to Shamiana next door it really isn't worth it. They also offer a delivery service with paywave available at your door and are always very friendly.
